Arsenal's transfer business is gathering pace ahead of the 2025/26 season with the signing of Martin Zubimendi finally being announced.
The midfielder's arrival was confirmed on Sunday after news of his move to north London initially emerged in January. Zubimendi joins on a long-term deal and bolsters Mikel Arteta's options in midfield for a fee believed to be above his £51million release clause.
Andrea Berta has now added two players to the Gunners squad this summer, with goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga signing from Chelsea earlier this month. With the Arsenal players returning for pre-season training, focus now turns to adding more new faces to Arteta's squad.

football.london understands that the club are working on a deal to sign Viktor Gyokeres.Since the transfer window opened, it has been a two-horse race between the Swede and RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, but talks with the Bundesliga side have stalled.
Reports on Sunday have claimed that a fee of £56.1m plus £13m in add-ons has been offered to Sporting, and personal terms are believed to be a formality.
Beyond a striker, which is currently the priority, Arsenal are expected tocomplete the signing of Christian Norgaard. The deal remains at an advanced stage, with the Danish midfielder expected to arrive for around £10m.
That would put Berta's signing count to four, and it won't stop there. The Gunners appear to be targeting another wide attacker, and Chelsea's Noni Madueke is one of the players on their shortlist.
Reports over the weekend suggested personal terms had been agreed with the England international, but the £50m valuation from their London rivals could be a major problem. Nico Williams, Rodrygo and Ademola Lookman have also been linked, but that's all it is at the moment.
There is hope that Arsenal can complete a move for Gyokeres and Norgaard, at minimum, completed before they jet off to Singapore for their pre-season tour.
