Indian Railways IRCTC Advance Ticket Booking: For the convenience of rail passengers, Indian Railways is going to start a new 'current booking' service soon. Under which passengers will now be able to book tickets in Vande Bharat trains even 15 minutes before the departure of the train. This will provide a lot of convenience to the passengers. Even at the last moment, they will be able to book tickets on the basis of vacant seats from the main station to the intermediate stations on the way without any tension.
Indian Railways IRCTC Advance Ticket Booking: There is good news for passengers who book train tickets at the last minute. Booking a seat in Vande Bharat Express has now become easier than ever. Western Railways is going to start a new 'current booking' service. Under which now passengers will be able to book their tickets even 15 minutes before the departure of the train. This service has been started as a pilot project in Southern Railways. Currently, 8 Vande Bharat trains have been included under this service. Western Railway is also preparing to adopt this service soon.
Now booking can be done from intermediate stations as well
Southern Railway has started the service of 'current booking' in 8 Vande Bharat trains from July 17 for the convenience of passengers. Under this service, passengers will be able to book tickets not only at the main station but also at intermediate stations on the basis of vacant seats. The most important thing is that tickets can be booked not only at ticket counters but also online. Currently, this service has been started in selected trains including Mangaluru Central-Thiruvananthapuram Central Vande Bharat Express and its return service train. Passengers will get a lot of convenience with the arrival of this new service.
If good feedback is received, it will be implemented in the Western Railway as well.
According to senior officials of Western Railway, if good feedback is received from the passengers regarding this service started by Southern Railway, then it will be implemented in the entire Western Railway. Let us tell you that this service will benefit the passengers of tier-2 cities and small cities. Along with this, this service will also help in reducing the number of empty seats in premium trains like Vande Bharat.
