Government Jobs: The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has announced recruitment for over 14,000 vacant Lower Division Clerk positions. These appointments will be made through the Second Inter-Level Combined Competitive Examination in various departments and offices. According to the notification, the Bihar Staff Selection Commission has reopened the application window for this position. The first application received over 2.7 million applications. Subsequently, the application window was reopened after increasing the vacancies. It should be noted that a total of 23,175 positions will be filled through the Second Inter-Level Examination.
Educational Qualifications
For this recruitment, candidates must have passed the 12th grade. Knowledge of Hindi and English typing on a computer is also required.
Age Limit
The age limit for this recruitment is 18 to 37 years. Age will be calculated as of August 1, 2025. The upper age limit will be relaxed by three years for BC, EBC, and women in Bihar, five years for SC and ST, and 10 years for differently-abled candidates.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on a preliminary examination and a main examination.
Appointment Location
Candidates will be appointed in the departments of Prohibition, Excise and Registration, Minority Welfare Department, Labor Commissioner, Labor Resources Department, Panchayati Raj Department, Urban Development and Housing Department, Cooperative Department, etc.
