Diwali Train Ticket Online Booking App: As the Diwali festival approaches, a frenzy of ticket bookings has erupted. Thousands of people hoping for instant tickets are facing disappointment. A large number of people are unable to secure confirmed train tickets. If you absolutely must reach home for Diwali and only need the train option, the only option left is general tickets, or unreserved tickets. However, the long queues for general tickets make people reluctant to purchase them. If you dare to board a general coach, we're showing you how to get an unreserved ticket from the comfort of your home. This can be done online on your smartphone.
Use the Railone App
With the Railone app, you can purchase general, or unreserved, train tickets from the comfort of your home. This app is available for free download and installation on the Google Play Store and Apple's App Store.
How to make a booking using the RailOne App:
Step 1: If you use an Android phone, download and install the RailOne app from the Play Store, or from the App Store if you use an iPhone.
Step 2: If you don't have an IRCTC account, sign up for the RailOne app. If you have an IRCTC account, log in to the app with that account and set a PIN.
Step 3: The RailOne app's user interface is quite clean. Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the app and review its key features.
Step 4: At the top of the app's home page, you'll see three categories: Reserved, Unreserved, and Platform.
Step 5: Click on Unreserved. An OTP will then be sent to your phone number.
Step 6: After entering the OTP, you will be able to book your ticket by entering your departure and destination.
Step 7: Using the app, you can purchase tickets for mail, express, or superfast trains.
If you don't have the RailOne app, try this:
If you don't have the RailOne app on your phone, you can also book unreserved tickets using the UTS app. The UTS app is specifically designed for selling unreserved tickets. You can purchase tickets on this platform after signing up with your mobile number. Keep in mind that unreserved tickets on the RailOne app are also sold through the UTS app. While purchasing a general ticket doesn't guarantee you a seat, you avoid paying train fines.
