Dibakar Banerjee’s 2006 movie Khosla Ka Ghosla has become a modern-day cult and is finally getting a sequel after 19 years.
According to the latest reports, Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 is currently in the writing stage and Huma Qureshi has been onboarded as the leading character in the movie.
Umesh Bist and his team have developed a script that builds upon the universe of Khosla Ka Ghosla, serving as a natural extension to its storyline and themes.
A source close to the production told Pinkvilla, “Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 script is locked and presently in the casting stage. The team is aiming to start by November this year, for a 2026 release. Much like the first part, this one, too, is an outright comic entertainer.”

The source further added, “Huma has come on board as one of the main characters of Khosla Ka Ghosla 2. She heard the script and loved what is on paper. The film will most likely be produced by T Series and the modalities are being worked out at the moment.”
Anupam Kher and Boman Irani are still in talks for the sequel to Khosla Ka Ghosla.
On the work front, Huma Qureshi is also gearing up for the release of Jolly LLB 3 opposite Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi.
She also has Maharani 4 in the pipeline.
“Huma has also started her own production house with brother, Saqib Salim and the first film, Baby Do Die Do is scheduled to release soon”, added the source.
