JoSAA 2025 Round 6 Seat Allotment Result: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) on Wednesday declared the Round 6 seat allotment results for the counselling process 2025. Candidates who had registered for counselling can check their seat allotment on the website at josaa.nic.in.
After the announcement, students have to confirm their admission by reporting online to the allocated institute, paying the seat acceptance fee, and uploading the documents required within the period between July 16 and July 20, 2025. The fee payment has to be done by July 20, whereas issues with fees should be taken care of by July 21.
JoSAA has made it clear that during Round 6, candidates cannot float or slide their assigned seats. The seat assigned in this last round has to be accepted without any scope for further change.
As far as withdrawal is concerned, candidates who have been given a seat in IITs cannot opt for withdrawal. Yet, those who have been given a seat in NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs can go for withdrawal till July 21, and have to answer any questions related to withdrawal by July 22.
The JoSAA counselling 2025 includes 127 institutions:
- 23 IITs
-31 NITs
-26 IIITs
-IIEST Shibpur
-47 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs)
These institutes admit all students through a single online platform for the 2025–26 academic year.
For applicants who are not allotted a seat in NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs, the alternative prospect is available in CSAB 2025 counselling, which can be reached at csab.nic.in.
Moreover, the starting dates of classes of different IITs and other participating institutes have been released by JoSAA and can be found on the official website.
For further admission, all candidates who have been given a seat in any round need to make the Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) payment. Document verification will not be carried out unless the SAF payment is made.
