A new Anganwadi Centre at Vadgaon Adivasiwadi, sanctioned under the District Annual General Plan Fund, was inaugurated on Thursday by Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare.
As part of the event, cheques were handed over to beneficiaries of the Lek Ladki scheme, while pregnant mothers received “Baby Care Kits” in recognition of their role in child welfare.

The occasion also featured the Annaprashan ceremony for a six-month-old infant, aimed at spreading awareness on preventing malnutrition, promoting maternal and child health, and ensuring holistic child development.
