Tyson Fury has extended an invitation to Daniel Dubois to join him in training following the latter's crushing defeat by Oleksandr Usyk.
'Triple D', was hoping to even the score after a previous loss to the Ukrainian two years ago, but found himself dominated for most of the rematch. Despite showing promise in the fourth round, Dubois was ultimately defeated deep into the fifth. Usyk floored the 27-year-old with a right hand before finishing him off seconds later with a left.
Despite this marking the third loss of his professional career, many are confident that Dubois will bounce back stronger than ever. One such supporter is Fury, who has invited 'Triple D' to train with him in his beloved Morecambe.
In a story shared on Instagram on Tuesday morning, the 'Gypsy King' went for a quick run around his town and sent an exclusive invite to the young heavyweight star. "And, if you ever want to do any training with a f****** real straight man, get yourself to Morecambe anytime you want kid because there is no jealousy here and there is no people putting this doubt in you," he said, reports All Out Fighting. He added: "I call them 'dreamcrushers' and jealous b******s. Exactly, that is what you are. A load of dirty jealous w******. Get up Daniel Dubois!"

Earlier in the footage, Fury was quick to commend Dubois for his performance in the ring at Wembley on Saturday evening and lashed out at critics branding 'Triple D' a quitter. Throughout his career, the 27-year-old has faced allegations of throwing in the towel when the going gets tough.
Nevertheless, Fury reckons Dubois deserves all the plaudits for entering the ring with Usyk for a second encounter and everything he has accomplished in his brief career so far. "Right guys, quick one. I keep getting asked about this Daniel Dubois situation and all this quitting stuff and whatever else. Here's the facts. The facts are, young Daniel D's best against one of the greatest champions that has ever been and he was not good enough... he came up short. He said put down twice. What do you want him to do? Die in the ring? There is no first place for getting battered and still losing," he declared.
"He did his best, he was not going to win the fight. He's better off getting out of there. There is a lot of jealousy in boxing. Especially when an individual is making a lot of money. A lot of jealous fighters... slagging someone off who did his best and had the guts to get in there. There is no cowards in boxing. When you are in that ring and fighting world heavyweight champions, there is no cowards. So all credit deserves to Daniel . He worked his b******* from being an eight year old to being world champion and fighting Usyk for the undisputed."
The 36-year-old continued: "Now he is sitting at home, multi millionaire at 27 and doing whatever the f*** he wants. Daniel, if you ever get to see this, chin up son. Your dad is proud, everybody is proud of you. You have come from a kid to a man to being the world heavyweight champion and boxed at Wembley in front of 100,000 people. You cannot beat that kid."
Dubois' promoter Frank Warren has suggested the fighter could benefit from a six-month break following his loss to Usyk. Warren has encouraged the British boxer to study the Ukrainian's approach in order to "resurrect himself". He explained: "You've got to learn from defeats, I mean that's what life's about, isn't it?".
"You know, not everything goes your way, you've got to come back, it's the mark of a man if he can do it, and we'll see if he can do it. He's got to resurrect himself. That's what we've had to do. That's the story. Usyk a quality, quality fighter, he has a great boxing IQ, and he's got the most unbelievable mental attitude. That's what makes him. That's what Daniel's got to learn from. Try and get and develop the mental attitude that Usyk has."
When is Tyson Fury's next fight?Earlier this month, it emerged that Fury will stage a remarkable return to the ring, with a third encounter against Usyk already confirmed. The trilogy clash is scheduled for 18 April 2026 at Wembley Stadium. The 36-year-old posted a fight poster featuring himself and the Ukrainian on Instagram, writing: "April 18, 2026 Wembley Stadium. The trilogy! UK. contact @spencerbrownmrgoldstar for tickets."
Following 24 rounds against the Ukrainian, the 'Gypsy King' continues to insist he secured victory in their December rematch."My last fight was a clear f****** victory for The Gypsy King. Anybody in boxing can see that. A complete load of dogs***," he declared.
"I want a fair fight, I don't want any favours, I want a fair fight and a fair result. Which I know I didn't [get]. I thought I won it by five rounds. I watched it 250 times. Each way I never see it as a way for him to win. They can do what they want. If they say it's Tuesday it's Tuesday."
