Antiques Road Trip headed to Lancashire for a special celebrity edition on Thursday (17 July), with comedians Tez Ilyas and Eshaan Akbar making an appearance on the beloved BBC Two show.
The duo met on the comedy circuit and formed a close friendship, which was highlighted on the BBC Two programme, especially as Tez and Eshaan got competitive with one another.
They were both given £400 to spend, with Tez teaming up with expert Roo Irvine while Eshaan was partnered with Charles Hanson.
As the two teams set out to find antiques, they came across items including a painting, jardiniere , highchair and wooden table.
Soon, Eshaan, Charles, Tez and Roo headed to the auction house, where they waited to find out if they'd made any profit on their items.
Chaos soon ensued, as Eshaan and Charles' items struggled to make much money at the auction. As they got set to auction off their very large mirrored jardiniere, the duo took matters into their own hands and attempted to sell the item to the attendees.
"Look how shiny it is!" Eshaan exclaimed as the auction reached £40.
His co-star Tez turned to the attendees and insisted: "Do not fall for these tactics. It's cheap and desperate!" while Roo added: "We're classier than that!"
The auctioneer closed the auction at £50, with Tez adding: "Someone drove that up for no reason."
Upon returning to his seat, Eshaan told his fellow comedian: "It's not all about profit, it's about taking part!"
Next up was Tez and Roo, with the pair auctioning off a painting. Tez followed in Eshaan's footsteps and lifted the painting up for everyone to see, doing his best to make it appealing to the buyers.
Some small profits and more losses followed, but Tez and Roo managed to finish on a high as their last item raked in £160, making a huge £50 profit.
The final figures saw Tez and Roo crowned the winners, making a total profit of £29.50. Meanwhile, Eshaan and Charles made a loss of £45.24.
"Guys, that was a journey. We've loved it!" Charles said to the team, while Eshaan jokingly told Tez: "I don't like it. I don't like what you did."
Eshaan and Tez were filmed as they drove away from the auction centre in a 1960s Daimler Dart, with the two comedians reflecting on their journey.
"I actually think you and I could be the new face of antiquing in the UK," Eshaan said optimistically.
Tez enthusiastically responded: "We could go up and down the country with people who don't know what they're talking about, don't know what they're doing, and be like 'Get that mate!'. Yeah, I'd do it again, awesome."
