M1 traffic: All cars stopped near Luton Airport as huge crash sparks delays

Drivers on the M1 facdc long delays after a crash on the Northbound side of the motorway near Luton Airport.

The incident is thought to have happened just before J11 in Luton, with tailbacks building three junctions back as far as Hemel Hempstead.

Drivers were warned to allow extra time on their journeys as gridlocked traffic has built up for several miles.
