All passengers were told to leave King's Cross station on Saturday afternoon. People took to social media to express confusion and concern. One person wrote on X: "Right now King's Cross London tannoy is asking all passengers to leave the station and police are arriving. All tube lines evacuated." The Express reached out to TfL and emergency services for comment.
In an update, TfL Access said: "King's Cross Underground station is closed while we respond to a fire alert. Tickets are being accepted on London Buses."
