Meghan Markle's dig at royal life last week in an interview with Bloomberg could have angered Netflix, royal experts have said. On August 26, Meghan, 44, celebrated the release of season two of her Netflix show "With Love, Meghan", which sees her cook and host for celebrity pals.
However, on the same day, the Duchess of Sussex was also seen in a rare interview with Bloomberg, in which she made a dig about royal life, specifically about having to wear nude pantyhose, which she said felt " inauthentic" to her. While this wasn't a drastic revelation, one royal expert said that it could have angered Netflix as she didn't make such revelations on the Netflix show, but did in the interview.
Royal expert Kinsey Schofield told Fox News Digital: "Meghan's pity parties sell and if I were Netflix, I would be angry that a far more personal interview was released the same day as her streaming programme where we hardly get any insight into Meghan's private life with Harry.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams then told Fox News Digital that this dig at royal life in the interview was to "get headlines". He said: "She knows that any mention of her time as a senior working royal gets instant worldwide attention."
