Ashley Roberts has informed her fans that she suffered an injury after falling down some stairs. The Heart FM radio presenter took to social media to post a video message detailing what happened. Ashley, who competed in Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, rose to fame as one of the members of the American girl band The Pussycat Dolls. In the video on Instagram, she detailed the injury sustained from her incident and joked that her ego was "bruised" after she experienced a tumble in front of members of the public. She told her followers in the footage: "Just coming on here to remind y'all to slow the eh down.
"Me thinking, 'Oh, I need to rush. I gotta get to my Uber. I don't want them to give me like a low score. I don't wanna make them wait.' Tumble down the stairs in heels in front of everybody. Yeah, that just happened."
She continued: "And now my shin is on fire, y'all." Ashley then warned her fans: "Slow down. We don't need to be in a rush. Everything's okay. Just a little reminder for ya."
She also uploaded onto her Instagram story the reality of her grazed shin, posting a snap of her leg showing a visible line down the front. Ashley also posted a snap of herself resting her shin under an ice pack on a sofa, giving a thumbs-up to the camera.
Ashley expressed her thanks for the support she had received and added the words: "Thx for all the messages! Just a bruised chin and ego my hunni's. Love ya."

Ashley enjoyed global fame in the Pussycat Dolls before she quit the band in 2010. She has since made the UK her home and reached the final of Strictly Come Dancing in 2018.
During her successful career so far, she has co-hosted Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway from 2013 to 2016. She also came runner-up on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2012.
Ashley currently co-hosts the breakfast show on Heart FM alongside Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston.
